Many people have asked about the provenance of the Kinslahger name. Obscure German word? Family name? Misspelled reference to Jaime Lannister? Good guesses, but all are incorrect. In fact, Kinslahger is a mash up of two words that are central to the ethos of our business. Kinship, representing a connection with other people, and Lager, the focus of our brewing. One tweak was the spelling of lager with an H, this incorporates the first letter of the last name of each of the three founding partners. Hence Kins-LAH-ger!
